Luthier workshop with guitar body in progress under warm light
The Craft

Built by Hand. Tuned by Ear.

Every GotWood guitar is shaped by one builder, one piece of wood, one decision at a time.

The Workshop

A Room Where Wood Decides.

Our Woodinville workshop is small on purpose. One bench. One builder. The smell of cedar, the hum of a single spindle sander, and the quiet that lets you hear a fret seat itself.

No assembly line. No production schedule pressing the work forward before it is ready. Just the patience required to make something that will outlive everyone in the room.

Insight

Where the Difference Lives.

A factory guitar is shaped by tooling tolerances. A custom guitar is shaped by hands that listen. Most of the difference is invisible — and it is the only thing you will feel when you play.

Details That Travel With You

Details That Travel With You.

Four of the choices that make a GotWood feel different the moment you pick it up.

Hand-Carved Contours

Every body contour shaped by hand for ergonomics no template can predict.

Neck Joinery

Tight, bolt or glue-fit neck pockets that transfer vibration cleanly into the body.

Compound Radius Boards

Fingerboards radiused for chord comfort low and bend clarity high.

All Lacquer Finish

All of our guitars get 10 coats of lacquer finish with wet sanding between coats 6 and 8.
